Remove brake pad guide pin (B) loosened in Step 3.
7.
Slide outer pad toward outside of caliper body until it clears
the threaded stud. Rotate pad and remove.
8.
Slide inner pad toward outside of caliper body until it clears
the threaded stud. Rotate pad and remove.
9.
Inspect caliper piston seals for signs of brake fluid leakage.
Replace caliper if leaking.

Rear Brake Pad Inspection
1.
Measure the thickness of the pad material. Replace pads if
worn beyond the service limit.
Rear Brake Pad Thickness
New .300 ± .007" (7.6 mm ± .178 mm)
Service Limit .180" (4.6 mm)
