1. Switch trouble diagnosis

This trouble diagnosis is performed when the
cruise control "SET" indicator light is on.
1) Operate the "CANCEL", front brake, rear
brake, and clutch switches.
If the cruise control "SET" indicator light
goes off while any one of these switches is
operated, the switch is defective.
Example:
If the "CANCEL" switch is pushed and the
cruise control "SET" indicator light goes off, the
"CANCEL" switch is defective.

2. Throttle drive system trouble diagnosis

1) Push the "RES/ACC" side of the cruise con-
trol switch 1.
The throttle grip will turn to the fully open
position in approximately 2.5 seconds,
remain in the position for 3 seconds, and
then turn to the fully closed position in
approximately 2.5 seconds.
Check that the throttle grip operates prop-
erly and check for abnormal noises.
