3. Voltage
• Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
meter assembly sub-wire harness coupler
(meter assembly side) as shown.
Positive tester probe → red/white 1
Negative tester probe → ground

• Set the main switch to "ON".
• Measure the voltage (DC 12 V) of red/
white 1 and ground at the meter assem-
bly sub-wire harness coupler.
• Is the voltage within specification?
YES

4. Voltage
• Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
neutral switch coupler (wire harness side)
as shown.
Positive tester probe → sky blue 1
Negative tester probe → ground

• Set the main switch to "ON".
• Shift the transmission into neutral.
• Measure the voltage (DC 12 V) of sky blue
1 and ground at the neutral switch cou-
pler.
• Is the voltage within specification?
YES
This circuit is OK.
