(receivers). An additional benefit of your SkyHopper PRO V is that it offers Control, Telemetry and Payload all in one RF channel. No need for separate solutions for each, no need for excess items to weigh down your drone.
2.2. SkyHopper PRO V Main Features SkyHopper PRO V offers the following features to take your drone to new levels: SkyHopper PRO V is equipped with two camera inputs, allowing for the simultaneous connectivity of two separate cameras simultaneously ...
Power: ZE - ZER-04V-S Power connectors utilizing 7-14.5VDC CAUTION: When SkyHopper PRO V is carried by a person, environment temperature should not exceed 45°C (113°F) NOTE – Information about the connectors’ pin assignments are available in Appendix C – Connectors Pinout LED: SkyHopper PRO V’s LEDs indicate power on, data transmission and link status.
FCC, CE or TELEC limits and/or in a country that does not comply with FCC, CE or TELEC regulations. Please note that SkyHopper specifications vary based on FCC, CE and TELEC regulations.
5.4. Embedded GPS Characteristics SkyHopper PRO V has a built-in GPS receiver. In a PTP network configuration it is used for location information only (which can be operated by the customer via the SkyHopper API). In a Multi-Unit network, it is used for synchronization and can also be used by the customer for location purposes.
7. Point-to-Point (PTP) A PTP network is a radio link between 2 SkyHopper PRO V units. The configuration (frequency and profile) of both units must be the same with only one difference - one unit is configured as a Remote Unit while the other unit is configured as a Controller Unit.
7.1. PTP Link Step-by-Step Configuration In order to build a PTP link, two SkyHopper PRO V units are required. One unit acts as a remote unit, while the other as a controller unit. 1. Connect antennas to RF1 and RF2 connectors, and power up the unit.
Slow Blink – Error (synced to ACTV LED) Fast Blink – Tx & Rx Air Traffic active Should there be an error in your SkyHopper PRO V unit, both the ACTV and DATA LEDs will be simultaneously slow blinking. Link status, CINR, RSSI, throughput and unit log information is available in the Web GUI, which can be found online at www.skyhopper.biz/skyhopper-pro-v#support.
HDMI Digital Analog The HDMI camera connects to the HDMI input port of SkyHopper PRO V; the analog camera connects to the supplied RCA cable, which then connects to the analog port; and the IP camera connects to Ethernet port.
Figure 8: Web GUI “Video Information” screen NOTE – This screen will be functional only when a SkyHopper PRO V unit will be set as a “Remote” unit. This is due to the fact that a camera may not be connected directly to the decoder because a video stream from said camera must first be encoded, and only then may it be decoded on the other side.
NAT address. Please pay attention that this should be an IP address of the user’s laptop / PC that is connected to the “Controller” SkyHopper PRO V unit. In this case, the user will not need to set a proper port in the “Port” field, because the video streaming will be directed to his laptop / PC.
User Manual The user must keep in mind that there are several options to set video streams that depend on which and how many cameras are connected. NOTE – When speaking about a video stream, we mean the video we are getting from camera. In our case, if the recording of the video stream will be defined the same as video stream (HDMI or analog camera), we’ll be using only one video stream, and one mux.

User Manual The “Audio” trigger enables / disables the audio stream that would be embedded within the video stream. Audio capabilities are currently disabled, but will be enabled in the near future. The “Record” trigger enables the recording of a stream over the SD card (if present). The user can select the FPS number and quality (if it is supported in that resolution combined with the analog stream as described in Table 6).
Please note that this should be an IP address of the user’s laptop / PC that is connected to the “Controller” SkyHopper PRO V unit. In this case, the user will not need to enter a proper port in the “Port” field, because the video streaming will be directed to his laptop / PC.
Cables should be chosen according to their attenuation (lower attenuation gives better results) and flexibility (according to the path they pass through). Each cable should have an MMCX Male connector on the SkyHopper PRO V end, and a connector matching the antenna’s connector on the other.

RS232 but there is a difference in the voltage levels. D.1. SkyHopper Setup The first stage is to setup the SkyHopper link to enable the UART interface on the link. The configuration should be setup on both units (Remote/Aerial and Controller/Ground).
User Manual D.3. UART-to-Ethernet There is an option to configure the system to work with a UART-to-Ethernet configuration, which eliminates the use of the serial cable on the Ground Unit. Please refer to the UART-to-Ethernet Connection Guide online at www.skyhopper.biz/skyhopper-provsupport.
