Setting the ISO sensitivity range ([Dual Native ISO Setting])
Applicable modes:
You can perform high-sensitive and low-noise recording with Dual Native ISO, a function
that permits the changing of the base sensitivity.
The available ISO sensitivity range changes according to the setting of [Dual Native ISO
Setting].

• The base sensitivity automatically changes according to the brightness and

other recording conditions.
[LOW]
AUTO/160 to 800 (80 to 800 when [Extended ISO] is used)
[HIGH]
AUTO/800 to 51200 (800 to 204800 when [Extended ISO] is used)
• Even if you select [LOW] or [HIGH] in Intelligent Auto Plus Mode or Creative Control Mode, it
works in the same way as [AUTO].
The ISO sensitivity is automatically adjusted according to the
brightness.
• Maximum [ISO6400]
The camera automatically sets the optimum ISO sensitivity
and shutter speed to suit the movement of the subject and
brightness of the scene to minimise the jitter of the subject.
• Maximum [ISO6400]
• The shutter speed is not fixed when the shutter button is
pressed halfway. It is continuously changing to match the
movement of the subject until the shutter button is pressed
fully.
The ISO sensitivity is fixed to various settings.
