The effects of hyperthermia include failure to per- ceive heat; failure to recognize the need to exit the spa or hot tub; unawareness of impending hazard; fetal damage in pregnant women; physical inability to exit the spa or hot tub and unconsciousness resulting in danger of drowning.

Choosing a Location for the Hydrotherapy Spa There are many factors to consider when choosing a location to set up the hydrotherapy spa. These factors vary depending on whether you plan to use the spa inside or outside. We have listed several factors you may wish to consider as you decide where to set up the spa.

3. Locate the three pillows. Each pillow can be attached to the spa shell in a high position or a low position. To determine the high and low positions, attach one pillow to the spa shell, note its position, remove it, turn it 180°, and then re-attach it. Attach the three pillows in the desired positions.
Using the Hydrotherapy Spa The hydrotherapy spa is designed to seat five adults. The spa holds 295 gallons of water and offers a heat- ing system (80°F to 104°F), a filtration system, and adjustable hydrotherapy jets. Follow the guidelines below to use and maintain the spa for your long-term enjoyment.
Spa Shell Diagram Refer to the diagram above. The function of each component is explained below. A. The four adjustable, directional jets can be pivot- ed to direct their water flow. To open the jets, turn the rims counterclockwise; to close the jets, turn the rims clockwise.

To drain the hydrotherapy spa, follow the steps below: 1. Using the console, adjust the temperature to the lowest setting. 2. Shut off the power to the spa, at the circuit breaker or GFCI. 3. Remove the access panel from the spa (see ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE ACCESS PANEL on page 14).
