of gas indicated on the rating plate. This
appliance is not convertible for use with
other gases.
WATER VAPOR:
A BY-PRODUCT OF UNVENTED ROOM HEATERS
Water vapor is a by-product of gas combustion.An
unvented room heater productes approximately one
(1) ounce (30ml) of water for every 1,000 BTU's (.3KW's)
of gas input per hour. Refer to page 4.

    AIR FOR COMBUSTION AND VENTILATION WARNING: This heater shall not be installed in a confined space or unusually tight construction unless provisions are provided for adequate combustion and ventila- tion air. Read the following in- structions to insure proper fresh air for this and other fuel-burning appliances in your home.

    NOTICE : This heater is intended for use as supplemental heat. Use this heater along with your primary heating system. Do not install this heater as your primary heat source. If you have a central heating system, you may run system's circulating blower while using heater.

    CONNECTING TO GAS SUPPLY WARNING : A qualified service person must connect heater to gas supply. Follow all local codes. CAUTION: Never connect heater directly to the gas supply. This heater requires an external regulator (not supplied). lnstall the external regulator between the heater and gas supply.

    CHECKING GAS CONNECTIONS WARNING: Test all gas piping and connections for leaks after install- ing or servicing. Correct all leaks at once. Pressure Testing Gas Supply Piping System Test Pressures In Excess Of 1/2 PSIG(3.5kPa) 1. Disconnect heater with its appliance main gas valve (control valve) and equipment shutoff valve from gas supply piping system.

CAUTION: After installation and periodically thereafter, check to en- sure that no flame comes in contact with any log. With the heater set to HIGH, check to see if flames contact any log.
