WATER VAPOR: A BY-PRODUCT OF UNVENTED ROOM
HEATERS
Water vapor is a by-product of gas combustion.An
unvented room heater productes approximately one (1)
ounce (30ml) of water for every 1,000 BTU's (.3KW's) of
gas input per hour. Refer to page 3.

Do not install this heater as your primary heat source. If you have a central heating system, you may run system’s circulating blower while using heater.

    INSTALLATION CHECKING GAS CONNECTIONS WARNING: Test all gas piping and connections for leaks after installing or servicing. Correct all leaks at once. WARNING: Never use an open flame to check for a leak. Apply a mixture of liquid soap and water to all joints.

    OPERATING HEATER Continued THERMOSTAT CONTROL OPERATION The thermostatic control used on these Models differs from standard thermostats.Standard thermostats sim- ply turn on and off the burner. The thermostat used on this heater senses the room temperature. At times the room may exceed the set temperature.If so, the burner will shut off.The burner will cycle back on when room temperature drops...

    Note : troubleshooting items are listed in order of operation. OBSERVED PROBLEM When ignitor button is pressed and control knob is pressed in and turned to the PILOT position, there is no spark at ODS/pilot. ODS/pilot lights but flame goes out when control knob is released.

Slight smoke or odor during initial operation. Heater produces a clicking/ticking noise just after burner is lit or shut off.
