Overview of cycle alarms

The error numbers are classified as follows:

● X=0 General cycle alarms
● X=1 Alarms generated by the drilling, drilling pattern and milling cycles

Messages in the cycles
The cycles display their messages in the message line of the control system. These messages do not interrupt the program
execution.
Messages provide information with regard to a certain behavior of the cycles and with regard to the progress of machining
and are usually kept beyond a machining step or until the end of the cycle. An example of messages is as follows:
"Depth: according to the value for the relative depth" from all drilling cycles.

Turn on the power supply for the machine tool. Proceed with the operations for the refer-
ence point approach, if the machine axis is equipped with an incremental encoder (see
Chapter "Switching on and referencing (Page 20)").

Create the required tools (see Section "Creating a tool (Page 21)").
3.
Activate the tools and the spindle (see Section "Activating the tool and the spindle
(Page 23)").
4.
Proceed with the handwheel assignment operations if the machine manufacturer has not
assigned the handwheel for the control system (see Chapter "Assigning the handwheel
(Page 24)").
5.
Proceed with the tool setting operations to finish measuring all the tools (see Section
"Measuring the tool manually (Page 27)").
6.
Verify the tool offset result to guarantee the safety and correctness of machining (see Sec-
tion "Verifying the tool offset result (Page 28)").
