    WARNING! If the battery charger is equipped with cooling slots, then do not attempt to insert objects through these slots. WARNING! Do not allow unsupervised children to play near the power chair while the batteries are charging.   • Page 34 Fresh batteries arrive regularly at Pride and are promptly shipped with a full charge. During shipping, the batteries encounter temperature extremes that may influence initial performance.     I X . C A R E CARE AND MAINTENANCE Your Jazzy 100 is a sophisticated power chair. Like any motorized vehicle, it requires routine maintenance checks. You can perform some of these checks, but others require assistance from your authorized Pride Provider. Preventive mainte- nance is very important.
