7.5 Different views of the workpiece

Note
● If you switch-on simultaneous recording after the unmachined part information has already
been processed in the program, only traversing paths and tool are displayed.
● If you switch-off simultaneous recording during machining and then switch-on the function
again at a later time, then the traversing paths generated in the intermediate time will not
be displayed.

Different views of the workpiece
In the graphical display, you can choose between different views so that you constantly have
the best view of the current workpiece machining, or in order to display details or the overall
view of the finished workpiece.
The following views are available:
● Top view
● 3D view (with option)
● Side views
● Turn view (for milling/turning machine)
● Half cut view (for milling/turning machine)
● Machine space (with "collision avoidance" option)

Plan view

Display as a top view

1.
Load a program in the "AUTO" mode.
2.
Press the "Sim. rec." softkey.
3.
Press the <CYCLE START> key.
The machining of the workpiece is started and graphically displayed on
the screen.
4.
Press the "Sim. rec." softkey again to stop the recording.
1.
Simultaneous recording or the simulation is started.
2.
Press the "Top view" softkey.
The workpiece is shown from above in the top view.
