Never use flailing de- vices with any attachment. This attachment (when used with supplied line trimmer attach- ment) is designed for line trimmer use only. Use of any other accessories with line trim- mer attachment will increase the risk of injury. -

S When using the trimmer attachment, keep cutting line at proper length. Use only 0.080″ (2 mm) diameter Poulan brand line. Never use wire, rope, string, etc. S Install required shield properly before using the trimmer attachment. -

The line limiter blade (on underside of shield) is sharp and can cut you. For proper orientation of shield, see KNOW YOUR TRIMMER ATTACHMENT illustration in OPERATION section. 1. If your pruner cuts to one side, has to be forced through the cut, or been run with an im- proper amount of bar lubrication it may be necessary to service your bar. A worn bar will damage your chain and make cutting difficult. After each use, with unit disconnected from power source, clean all sawdust from the guide bar and sprocket hole. - Page 17 75˚ 30˚ Hook Angle 0.025 inch (0.65 mm) Rounded Corner Right Squared Off Too Much Hook Angle Corner Wrong WARNING: Maintain the proper hook angle according to the manufacturer’s specifica- tions for the chain you are using.
