You also still need to enable MAC authentication for the device. You do this with the dot1x
mac-auth command in the Global configuration mode.
You disable the function with the no dot1x mac-auth command.
You display this setting and other information with the show dot1x command.

Description
With this command, you disable MAC authentication for a port.
Requirement
You are in the Interface configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:

Syntax
Call the command without parameters:
no dot1x mac-auth
Result
MAC authentication is disabled for a port.
