The​ ​ A dtec​ ​ E N-Series​ ​ w ith​ ​ o ptional​ ​ i ntegrated​ ​ m odulator​ ​ h as​ ​ b een​ ​ d esigned​ ​ w ith
different​ ​ a pplications​ ​ i n​ ​ m ind.​ ​ ​ ​ T he​ ​ e ncoder​ ​ / ​ ​ m odulator​ ​ c ombo​ ​ s upports​ ​ t hree​ ​ d ifferent
modes​ ​ o f​ ​ o peration.

The​ ​ d efault​ ​ m ode​ ​ o f​ ​ o peration​ ​ h as​ ​ t he​ ​ ' ASI​ ​ R eceive​ ​ M ode'​ ​ c onfiguration​ ​ t urned​ ​ O FF.
In​ ​ t his​ ​ m ode,​ ​ t he​ ​ S DI​ ​ i nput​ ​ s erves​ ​ a s​ ​ t he​ ​ p rimary​ ​ S D/HD-SDI​ ​ v ideo​ ​ i nput​ ​ i nto​ ​ t he​ ​ e ncoder.
The​ ​ e ncoder​ ​ p rocesses​ ​ t he​ ​ v ideo/audio/ancillary​ ​ d ata​ ​ a nd​ ​ p laces​ ​ t he​ ​ c ompressed​ ​ d ata​ ​ i nto​ ​ a
transport​ ​ s tream.​ ​ ​ ​ T he​ ​ t ransport​ ​ s tream​ ​ i s​ ​ f ed​ ​ c oncurrently​ ​ t o​ ​ t he​ ​ A SI​ ​ o utput​ ​ m odule,​ ​ I P
output​ ​ m odule,​ ​ a nd​ ​ i nternal​ ​ m odulator​ ​ i nput.​ ​ ​ ​ T he​ ​ A SI​ ​ o utput​ ​ w ill​ ​ a lways​ ​ b e​ ​ e nabled,​ ​ w hile

In​ ​ t his​ ​ m ode,​ ​ t he​ ​ S DI​ ​ i nput​ ​ i s​ ​ c hanged​ ​ t o​ ​ a n​ ​ A SI​ ​ i nput.​ ​ ​ ​ T his​ ​ c an​ ​ b e​ ​ u seful​ ​ i n​ ​ s ituations
where​ ​ t he​ ​ e ncoder​ ​ m ay​ ​ n ot​ ​ m eet​ ​ s pecific​ ​ r equirements​ ​ f or​ ​ a ​ ​ j ob​ ​ w ithout​ ​ l osing​ ​ u p​ ​ t o

connector.
This​ ​ i s​ ​ a ​ ​ s hared​ ​ c onnector;​ ​ i t​ ​ a lso​ ​ f unctions​ ​ a s​ ​ t he​ ​ S DI-In​ ​ c onnector.
2 Access​ ​ t he​ ​ W eb​ ​ U I​ ​ f or​ ​ y our​ ​ u nit.
3 On​ ​ t he​ ​ " Video"​ ​ t ab,​ ​ s elect​ ​ ​ ​ < On>​ ​ ​ ​ a s​ ​ t he​ ​ o ption​ ​ f or​ ​ " ASI​ ​ R eceive​ ​ M ode".
