HOW TO USE THE MEMOREX MW5554
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
The MW5554 Bluetooth Multi-Media Boombox features a built-in rechargeable
battery that can be charged using the Micro USB DC Jack
located on the rear

optimal performance and battery life.
1. Connect charging cable (included) to a computer USB port or USB power adapter
with 5V supply.

If connection is lost after successful pairing, check to make sure the distance
between speaker and Bluetooth-enabled device does not exceed 30 ft/10 m. If the
connection is interrupted due to low battery, switch the speaker off, recharge the
internal battery, and repeat steps when fully charged.
Notes:
• When the unit is on and in Bluetooth source mode, the speaker will automatically
try to connect to the most recently played paired device when available. Up to
six devices maximum may be stored in Bluetooth memory.
• To avoid interference, deactivate Wi-Fi on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.)
when using Bluetooth.

Listen to Music Using the Line-In Source
This unit provides an auxiliary audio signal input jack for connecting external audio
devices like MP3 players, CD players and listening to your external source through
the speakers of this system.
1. Insert one end of an audio cable (not included) into the Line Out Jack (or
Headphone Jack) on your external audio device and the other end into the AUX
Jack bp.
2. Repeatedly press the Function button
to select the AUX mode.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Not Charging:
• Check to make sure the USB cable (provided) is plugged into the Micro USB Jack
and the other end is plugged into a USB Power Adapter (not included) or Powered
USB jack on a computer.
• Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm the power source is working.
Sound not clear or no sound:
• Check volume levels on both MW5554 speaker and connected device.
• Check distance between this unit and the connected device.
Music does not play from external device:
• Make sure you are using a Bluetooth-enabled device.
• Select MRX-MW5554 as your speaker device, disconnect this unit and device
from pairing with all other devices.
• Check if both devices are connected.
• Restart the MW5554 and auto-connect with the Bluetooth-enabled device.
Unit gets warm after extended play at high volume
