Close the staple case cover.
CAUTION
When closing the staple case cover, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this
may result in personal injury.

Reconnect the finisher to the main unit, as shown below.

caught, as this may result in personal injury.
NOTE
If there are no staples ready for stapling after reconnecting the finisher to the main unit, the
stapler unit automatically performs a "dry" stapling operation to reposition the staples.
