Cleaning and care

Plinth filter

Clean the plinth filter when  lights
up or when the programme duration
has been extended.
To turn the  indicator light off: Open
and close the door while the dryer is
switched on.

Removing the plinth filter

 Press the round, indented area on the
heat exchanger access panel to open
it.
The panel will spring open.
 Pull the plinth filter out by the handle.

Removing the plinth filter will cause the
right-hand guide pin in the dryer to
come out. This pin ensures that the
heat exchanger access panel can only
be closed if the plinth filter is inserted
the right way round.

Cleaning

 Pull the handle out of the plinth filter.
 You can brush off a heavy build-up of
fluff on the plinth filter or remove it
with a vacuum cleaner.
 Clean the filter thoroughly under
running water.
 Squeeze the water out of the plinth
filter thoroughly.

The plinth filter must not be
replaced dripping wet. This can
cause a fault.
 Use a damp cloth to remove any fluff
from the handle.
