Change Password

Use Change Password to change the password for a specific Maintenance badge.

FACTORY DEFAULT

Use FACTORY DEFAULT to set the Series 4000 timeclock back to the factory
defaults.
Warning
Only use the FACTORY DEFAULT settings if your Series 4000 timeclock is not
operating properly. You lose all settings and data if you complete this transaction.

Performing Maintenance Functions
Action
Press the More... soft key three times.
Press the Change Password soft key.
Type the old password for the badge.
Type the new password.
Type the new password a second time.
Action
Press the FACTORY DEFAULT soft key.
Do one of the following:

Press ENTER to accept the default answer.
!
Press the toggle soft keys to select YES or NO,
and press ENTER.
Restore your Communication Settings. See
"Communication Setting (basic configuration)" on
page 4-47.
