Remove the Battery

1. Locate the battery compartment on the
back of the phone.
2. Press and hold the release latch at the top
of the battery compartment cover.
3. Pull the cover upward, and then remove it
from the phone. (See illustration in Step 2 on
page 28.)
4. Press and hold the release latch at the top
of the battery.
5. Pull the battery upward, out of the phone.
6. Replace the battery compartment cover by
inserting the bottom end into the slots at the
end of the compartment and then snapping
the cover down into place. (See illustration in
Step 5 on page 28.)
7. Replace the safety cover. Refer to "Attach
the Battery Safety Cover" on page 27.
