Access the IM menu
To access the
Instant messages
menu while still offline, select
Messages
>
Instant
messages. If more that one set of connection setting for IM
service is available, select the desired one. If there is only one set defined, it is
selected automatically.
To connect to the IM service, select Login. You can set the phone to automatically
connect to the IM service when you enter the
"Connect to and disconnect," page 38.
To view, erase, or rename the conversations that you have saved during an IM
conversation, select
Saved

To view the settings needed for IM and presence, select

To select the configuration settings that support IM, select
