This information re- lates to protecting YOUR SAFE- TY and PREVENTING EQUIPMENT PROBLEMS. To help you recognize this informa- tion, we use the symbols below. Please read the manual and pay attention to these sections. - Page 3 HAZARD RISK OF LOSS OF HEARING WHAT COULD HAPPEN • Long term exposure to noise produced from the opera- tion of air tools can lead to permanent hearing loss. HAZARD RISK TO BREATHING INHALATION HAZARD WHAT COULD HAPPEN • Abrasive tools, such as grinders, sanders, and cut-off tools generate dust and abrasive materials which can be harmful to human lungs and respiratory system.

Lubricate tool, see “Maintenance” section in this manual. Open the keyless chuck (A), no tools are required. Insert and center drill bit in the jaws (B) as you close chuck. NOTE: An off centered drill bit will wobble and could break. -

Locate the position of the hole to be drilled. Mark that position with a center punch. This provides a good seat for the drill bit point and keeps the drill from moving from the mark. Never apply a spinning drill bit to the work. -
