17. Install clevis pin (A) through support and windrower lift
member, and secure with hairpin (B). Repeat for
opposite side.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure clevis pin (A) is fully inserted and hairpin is
installed behind bracket.
18. Disengage safety prop by turning lever (A) downward to
raise safety prop until lever locks into vertical position.
NOTE:
If safety prop will not disengage, raise header slightly.
19. Repeat for opposite side.
CAUTION
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
20. Start the engine and activate the HEADER DOWN
switch (A) on the GSL to fully lower the header.
