Configuration procedure

To configure a tunnel interface:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Create a tunnel interface
and enter its view.
3.
Configure a description
for the interface.
4.
Apply
loopback group.
5.
Set the MTU of the tunnel
interface.
6.
Set the bandwidth for the
tunnel interface.
7.
Restore
setting.
8.
Shut down the tunnel
interface.

The default MTU of the tunnel interface
depends on the status of the interface:
If you choose to manually set the MTU,
make sure the same MTU is configured
for all tunnel interfaces.
An MTU set on any tunnel interface is
effective on all existing tunnel
interfaces.
If you use this command multiple times,
the most recent configuration takes
effect.

By default, the bandwidth for the tunnel
interface is 64 kbps.
