The camera focuses on a subject within the spot
AF frame. This mode can be used to single out a
specific subject from a group.
1. Press the AF mode button until the
spot-AF indicator appears on the data
panel.
• The spot-AF focus frame appears in the
viewfinder.
2. Place the subject in the spot-AF focus
frame. Press the shutter-release button
partway down to lock the focus.
