Toe Alignment

Do not attempt to adjust alignment. All steering adjustments should be per-
formed by an authorized Polaris dealer.
Use the following procedure to check the toe alignment of the vehicle.
The recommended toe alignment is 3-6 mm toe out.
1. Position the vehicle on a
level surface.
2. Place the handlebars in a
straight-ahead position.
3. Tie a length of string
between two stands as
shown in the illustra-
tion. Position the stands
so that the string is flush
with the side of the rear
tire.
NOTE:
If available, you may
use a long straight-
edge instead of string.
4. Measure the distance
from the string to the
rim at the front (1) and
rear (2) of the front rim.
The rear measurement should be 2-3 mm more than the front mea-
surement on each side of the vehicle to obtain the recommended 3-6
mm toe out alignment.
5. Repeat the measurement procedure on the other side of the vehicle.
NOTE:
If you discover improper alignment, see your Polaris dealer for service.
