Direct Page Register (DPR)
The function of direct page register (DPR) is explained.
Direct Page Register (DPR) <Initial Value:01
The direct page register (DPR) specifies the addresses 8 to addresses 15 of instruction operand in the direct
addressing mode as shown in Figure 2.3-11. The DPR having the 8-bit length is initialized to 01
reset. In addition, it can be read and written by the instruction.
Figure 2.3-11 shows the generation of the physical address in the direct addressing mode.
