maximum number of
lines for the tape you are

Action
Use wider tape or reduce
the number of lines.
6mm tape...1 line
9mm tape...1 line
12mm tape...Up to 2 lines
18mm tape...Up to 2 lines
Press any key to initialize
the Label Printer.
Replace the batteries
with new ones or use the
specified AC adaptor.
Use the printer in a
location within the
operating temperature
range (10°C to 35°C;
50°F to 95°F).
Store the text in memory
and then try again.
Press OK to overwrite the
existing text with the new
text, or
to cancel the
store operation.

Possible Causes
The tape became
PRINT ERROR!
jammed during printing.
This message appears
TAPE IS LONG
when the length of the
tape that will actually be
printed is longer than the
specified tape length.
Action
Turn off the printer
and remove the tape
cartridge. Next, remove
the jammed tape.

above do not clear the
error message, contact
your retailer or your
nearest CASIO service
center.
