devices
If an C-NET device is removed, the loop contact prevents the C-NET line from
being interrupted and thereby prevents a fault message.
The work described in this chapter may be performed when the C-NET line is
switched on.
NET device
It may be possible that an C-NET device must be temporarily removed from the
base. Afterwards the same device must be re-inserted at exactly the same place in
the C-NET.
Procedure
1. Remove the device.
The control panel detects that the device is missing and reports a 'Fault'.
2. Perform the necessary activities.
3. Re-insert the device in the C-NET in the same, previous position.
4. Acknowledge the 'Fault'.
If the 'Fault' is no longer displayed, the control panel updates the settings of the
re-inserted device.
If this 'Fault' is still displayed, and/or the 'Line' is not in normal operation, the
'Line' has to be restarted.
