Writing signatures
Installation
Disk arrays are configured using the same procedure for configuring any
new disk on the host. This includes the following procedures:
• Writing signatures
• Creating and formatting disk partitions
• Verifying file system operations
1. Right-click on the My Computer desktop icon and click Manage.
2. Click Disk Management. A message notifies you that disks have been
added.
3. Click OK to update the system configuration and start the Write
Signature wizard, which allows you to write signatures to the disks.
4. For each new disk, click OK to write a signature, or click No to prevent
writing a signature.
