Symptom

cutting/drawing.
Cutting
Symptom
The material being cut
catches on the tip of the
cutting blade.
The machine stopped
while an operation is
being performed.
Possible Causes (or Results)
The material extends from the
adhesive area of the mat.
The mat's adhesive strength has
decreased.
The material to be cut/drawn is
jammed in the feeding mechanism
in the machine.
The mat is not level due to the
weight of the material.
The mat's adhesive strength has
decreased.
Possible Causes (or Results)
There is an obstruction around the
slot at the back of the machine.
The surface where the machine is
installed is uneven.
The mat's adhesive strength has
decreased, or the material is not
secured.
The material extends from the
adhesive area of the mat.

Possible Causes (or Results)
Dust or lint has accumulated in the
holder.
The blade is worn.
The material being cut is
incompatible with this machine.
For safety, the machine stops
operating if a button in the
operation panel is pressed while
cutting or drawing.
Solutions
Attach the material while keeping it
within the adhesive area of the mat.
Replace the mat with a new one.
Press the "Feed" button while the mat is
being inserted to feed it out.
If the mat does not feed out, turn off the
machine, and then carefully pull out the mat.
With your hands, hold the mat level when
inserting it.
Replace the mat with a new one.
Solutions
Maintain space around the slot at the
back of the machine so that the mat can
be fed out.
Place the machine on a flat, even
surface.
Press the "Feed" button to feed out the
mat, and then replace the mat with a new
one.
Press the "Feed" button to feed out the
mat, and then attach the material while
keeping it within the adhesive area of the
mat.
Press the "Pause/Stop" button to stop
the operation. Follow the instructions on
the screen, and press the "Feed" button
to feed out the mat.
If the mat does not feed out, turn off the
machine, remove the holder, and then
manually feed out the mat.
After feeding out the mat, replace it with
a new one or attach the material while
keeping it within the adhesive area of the
mat.
Solutions
Clean the holder.
Replace the blade with a new one.
Replace the material with one
compatible with this machine.
Check that either of the following
messages appear, and then press
to return the carriage to its original
position. Insert the mat, and then try
performing the operation again.

- When drawing
Drawing paused. Resume: [OK] Stop:
[STOP]
