e recommend that you become acquainted with the information in this manual before ener-
gizing your UPLC-II™ system. Failure to do so may result in injury to personnel or damage to
the equipment, and may affect the equipment warranty. If you mount the carrier set in a cabinet,
it must be bolted to the floor or otherwise secured before you swing out the equipment, to pre-
vent the installation from tipping over.
You should not remove or insert printed circuit modules while the UPLC-II™ is energized.
Failure to observe this precaution can result in undesired tripping output and can cause com-
ponent damage.
