Outputting system information to the SNMP module

NOTE:
The SNMP module accepts only the trap information; it discards log and debugging information even if
you have configured to output them to the SNMP module.
To monitor the running status of the device, trap information is usually sent to the SNMP network
management system (NMS). To do so, you need to configure to send traps to the SNMP module, and
then set the trap sending parameters for the SNMP module to further process traps. For more information,
see the chapter "SNMP configuration."
Follow these steps to configure to output system information to the SNMP module:
To do...
Enter system view
Enable information center
Name the channel with a specified
channel number
Configure the channel through
which system information can be
output to the SNMP module
Configure the output rules of the

Configure the format of the time

Outputting system information to the web interface

sorting functions. If you configure to output the system information to the web interface, view system
information by clicking corresponding tabs after logging in to the device through the web interface.
