Listening to the radio

Tune to a station.
There are four tuning modes: preset, step and auto and hi-speed tuning.
Preset: See page 25 for more on how to save and recall station presets.
Step tuning: Use 4 and ¢ to step through the frequency band in either
direction.
Auto tuning: Press and hold 4 or ¢ until the frequency display starts to move
(about 1 second), then release. The tuner will stop on the next station it finds. Repeat to
search for other stations.
Hi-speed tuning: Press and hold 4 or ¢ until the frequency starts to change
at high speed (after about 4 seconds). Keep the button pressed until you reach the
frequency you want, then release. Use step tuning to fine-tune the station.

Improving stereo FM sound

If you're listening to an FM station in stereo but the reception is weak, you can improve
the sound quality by switching to mono. Press
