Configuring IS-IS basic functions

Configuration prerequisites

Before you configure IS-IS basic functions, complete the following tasks:
Configure the link layer protocol.
Configure an IP address for each interface, and make sure all neighboring nodes can reach each
other at the network layer.

Enabling IS-IS

Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enable the IS-IS routing
process and enter its view.
3.
Assign a network entity title
(NET).
4.
Return to system view.
Specifying the IS-IS hello multiplier

Disabling an interface from sending or receiving IS-IS packets
Enabling an interface to send small hello packets
