tions and games (Games & More,
p. 69) and multi-tone (polyphone)
ring tones from the Internet via
HTTP. Configure the HTTP connec-
tion using the HTTP profiles (p. 71).
International dialing codes
International dialing codes are
stored in your phone. In standby
mode (the

Hold down until a "+"-is

the first two digits of the
international dialing
code.

national phone number (in many

JAD
Three types of file are possible when
Java™ is used:
The JAD file (Java Descriptor)
These files contain information
about the application (JAR file) plus
their address for downloading. Acti-
vating a JAD file establishes the con-
nection to the Internet and the exe-
cutable application is loaded.
The JAR file (Java Archive)
This file contains the executable
application. Activating a JAR file
starts the application.
Combined files
These files occur if JAR files are
loaded via JAD files. In this case the
JAD file is added to the JAR file. The
icon is the same as for JAR files.
