Parameters
minor minor-value: Specifies the minor alarm threshold in the range of 0 to 1499. This threshold must be
equal to or less than the total memory size. Setting this threshold to 0 disables the minor alarm function.
severe severe-value: Specifies the severe alarm threshold in the range of 0 to 1499. This threshold must
be equal to or less than the minor alarm threshold. Setting this threshold to 0 disables the severe alarm
function.
critical critical-value: Specifies the critical alarm threshold in the range of 0 to 1499. This threshold must
be equal to or less than the severe alarm threshold. Setting this threshold to 0 disables the critical alarm
function.
normal normal-value: Specifies the normal state threshold in the range of 0 to 1499. This threshold must
be equal to or greater than the minor alarm threshold.
slot slot-number: Specifies an IRF member device by its member ID. Without this option, the command
sets memory usage thresholds for the master.
Usage guidelines
To ensure correct operation and improve memory utilization, the system monitors the amount of free
memory space in real time. When a free-memory threshold is exceeded, the system sends an alarm
notification or an alarm-removed notification to affected feature modules or processes so they can take
countermeasures. For more information about the free-memory thresholds, see Fundamentals
Configuration Guide.
Examples
# Set the minor alarm, severe alarm, critical alarm, and normal state thresholds to 64 MB, 48 MB, 32 MB,
