Erasing a track from ITS memory

When you want to erase a track from ITS mem-
ory, you can do so when ITS play is on.
1 Turn ITS play on while playing a CD from
which you want to erase a track program from
ITS memory.
Refer to Playback from ITS memory on page 66.
2 Press
and
FUNC
NEXT
ITS.M to select the ITS memory mode.
3 Press 2 or 3 to select the desired track.
4 Press
to erase the currently playing
CLEAR
track from ITS memory.
The currently playing track is erased from ITS
memory and playback of the next track from ITS
memory begins. If there are no tracks from ITS
memory in the current play range, "ITS empty"
is displayed and normal play resumes.
5 Press
to cancel the ITS memory
BAND/ESC
mode.

• In this mode, you can also use ∞ to erase the
currently playing track from ITS memory.

Erasing a CD from ITS memory

When you want to erase all tracks of a CD from
ITS memory, you can do so when ITS play is off.
1 Press 5 or ∞ to select the CD you want to
erase from ITS memory.
If ITS play is on, turn ITS play off. Refer to
Playback from ITS memory on page 66.
2 Press
and
FUNC
NEXT
to select the ITS memory mode.
3 Press
to erase all tracks on the cur-
CLEAR
rently playing CD from ITS memory.
"Memory deleted" is displayed briefly and all
tracks on the currently playing CD are erased
from ITS memory.
4 Press
to cancel the ITS memory
BAND/ESC
mode.
Note
• In this mode, you can also use ∞ to erase all
tracks on the currently playing CD from ITS
memory.
