When logging into the DNS-323 for the first time, you will be asked
to choose a drive's configuration type and format the drives. There
are four available configuration options, Standard, JBOD, RAID 0
and RAID 1.
Select a configuration type for
your hard drive and click Next.
A message will appear warning
that all data will be erased
during formatting. Click OK to
continue.
Select the EXT2 or EXT3 file
system on DNS-323. Click Next
to continue.
