    Connecting the Player When making connection, to this unit or when changing connections, always be sure to check that the unit in standby by pressing the STANDBY/ON switch, and unplug the power cord from the power outlet. On this player, a screen saver function is included in order to prevent screen burn when an image such as a menu screen etc., is continuously displayed for a long time (more than 5 minutes).

    The player's pickup lens should not become dirty in normal use, but if for some reason it should malfunction due to soiling, contact your nearest PIONEER authorized service center. Lens cleaners are commercially available, but special care should be exercised in their use since some may cause damage to the lens.
