Before You Start Important The red lead (ACC) of this unit should be con- nected to a terminal coupled with ignition switch on/off operations. If this is not done, the vehicle battery may be drained. Reverse mode If you do not perform an operation within about 30 seconds, screen indications start to reverse, and then continue reversing every 10 seconds. -

Section Operating this unit Deleting a registered phone If you no longer need to use a registered phone with this unit, you can delete it from the registration assignment for another phone. ! If a registered phone is deleted from this unit, the Phone Book and other settings of that phone are cleared simultaneously. -

Operating this unit ! This feature is not possible if you are play- ing back songs on your Bluetooth audio player via Bluetooth wireless technology. In such case, stop the playback and switch to another source for your cellular phone to connect to this unit through this function. - Page 38 Section Operating this unit Pressing MULTI-CONTROL repeatedly changes the name view order between first name and last name. Calling a number in the Phone Book Important To perform this operation, be sure to park your ve- hicle and apply the parking brake. After finding the number in the Phone Book you want to call, you can select the entry and make the call.
