Installation Instructions
STEP 1: Unpack and Inspect the GE Autosampler
STEP 2: Complete the Identification Records
Enter the serial number of the GE Autosampler on page 3 of the
Sievers M-Series Operation and Maintenance Manual.
STEP 3: Select a Location
Place the GE Autosampler next to an installed Analyzer
on a clean, unobstructed surface that can accommodate
the dimensions and weight detailed in the Specifications
Summary. For proper heat dissipation, ensure that 16 cm
(6.3 in) is available at the rear and on both sides of the Analyzer.
Keep away from direct sunlight. For proper operation and to avoid
measurement errors, ensure that the environment temperature is no
greater than 40ª C (104ª F) or lower than 10ª C (50ª F).
STEP 4: Set up the GE Autosampler
Install the rinse station tubing (optional), vial racks, and needle
assembly.

Intall the Racks
Insert each vial rack into the base of the GE Autosampler,
fitting the feet (located on the bottom of the vial rack) into the
corresponding slots.
Installed Vial Racks
Note:
All racks in a single protocol must be either 17 mL,
35 mL, 40 mL, or 60 mL.

Needle Arm and Needle Assembly
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver (turn counter-clockwise
ONLY), slightly lower the needle arm to make room for
using the wrench in Step 4.
2. Unsrew the PEEK nut at the top of the needle assembly and
remove the protective cap from needle tip.

• Este es un producto con seguridad de Clase I. Debe estar conectado a un
suministro de energía con conexión a tierra. Si este instrumento se utiliza
de una manera que no sea la especificada por GE Analytical Instruments
de EE.UU., es posible que se vea disminuida la protección provista por el
instrumento.
• Detenga siempre las mediciones y protocolos de TOC antes de apagar o
desenchufar el Automuestreador GE.
• Tenga en cuenta las directrices siguientes cuando utilice el
Automuestreador GE en conjunto con líquidos inflamables: Para reducir
el riesgo de incendio, el Automuestreador GE no se debe utilizar para
tomar muestras de líquidos inflamables con un punto de inflamabilidad
