Use only batteries and chargers that are approved for use with this model. Using your fingernail in the designed slot (marked in the photo below with a red arrow), pry the cover open.

Bluetooth range is 10 m at most, and is dependent on various conditions (obstacles, electromagnetic interference, etc.).
