Certain settings for the appliance can
only be selected in settings mode.
While you are in settings mode, the
door alarm and any other fault
messages are suppressed
automatically, but the alarm symbol
lights up on the display.
Available settings
Activating and deactivating the
safety lock

Select the temperature unit

(Celsius or Fahrenheit)
Turning the ice cube maker on/
off (setting the amount of water;
rinsing the ice cube maker;
setting the ice cube tray
cleaning position)
Turning acoustic signals on/off
Changing the brightness of the
display
Adjusting the temperature in the
PerfectFresh Pro zone
Turning Sabbath mode on/off

Selecting additional settings
Safety lock
The safety lock can be activated to
prevent:
– the appliance being turned off by
mistake,
– the temperature being changed by
mistake,
– automatic SuperCool and
SuperFreeze being selected by
mistake,
– settings being adjusted by mistake (it
is only possible to deactivate the
lock).
This prevents the appliance being
turned off or settings adjusted without
your knowledge, for example by
children.
Activating and deactivating the safety
lock
Touch the settings sensor.
All symbols available for selection will
appear in the display and the symbol
flashes.
Touch the OK sensor to confirm your
selection.
The last selected setting flashes and
the symbol lights up in the display.
