1. Remove all sheets of paper from the Compartment.
2. Turn ON the host machine. The fan wind-power correction sequence is performed automatically.
3. Execute the following item on the service mode.
• Initialization when replacing the parts
Service Mode > COPIER > FUNCTION > CST > DK1-INT1
(LV1)
4. Set the A4 paper in the Compartment and adjust the guide to the paper width.
5. Execute the following item on the service mode.
Service Mode_COPIER > FUNCTION > CST > PDK-A4
(LV1)
6. After automatic adjustment, the value is stored in the following item.
Service Mode_COPIER > ADJUST > CST-ADJ > PDK-A4
(LV1)
7. Remove all sheets of paper.
8. Set the A5R paper in the Compartment and adjust the guide to the paper width.
9. Execute the following item on the service mode.
Service Mode_COPIER > FUNCTION > CST > PDK-A5R
(LV1)
10. After automatic adjustment, the value is stored in the following item.
Service Mode_COPIER > ADJUST > CST-ADJ > PDK-A5R
(LV1)
*: Perform step 4 and following steps, only when connected to imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8500/6500 series.
■ Entry of the Serial Number (If the host machine is supprted)
The serial number of this machine is memorized by the Deck Driver PCB.
1. Enter the serial number by using the following service mode. The serial number is written in the rating name plate.
Service Mode > COPIER > OPTION > SERIAL > PDECK1

1. Remove all sheets of paper from the Compartment.
2. Set the A4 paper in the Compartment and adjust the guide to the paper width.
3. Execute the following item on the service mode.
Service Mode_COPIER > FUNCTION > CST > PDK-A4

4. After automatic adjustment, the value is stored in the following item.
