Place two AA batteries inside the battery compartment with their + and – ends aligned as indicated. Replace the battery compartment lid.

With manual clock setting, you tell the TV/VCR the current time. With Automatic or Manual PBS Channel Selection, the TV/VCR gets the time from your local PBS station.

You can bring up the status display at any time by pressing the STATUS/EXIT button.

(Make sure the source unit is connected to a power source.) The source unit (VCR or camcorder) will play your tape. Insert a prerecorded tape in the source unit.
