PURPOSE
For affected vehicles, the parking brake lever adjusting nut and nut holder assembly have been
simplified by changing to a self-locking nut. This Technical Service Bulletin provides updated
information relating to the changes made in the applicable service manuals when installing new
parts.

2004-06 Lancer Sportback
2003-06 Outlander
New parts production began January, 2008 and they are fully interchangeable with affected
vehicles.
