7. Locate the wires leading to the heating element
terminals and pull down the 2 nylon terminal
covers.
8. Disconnect the 2 wires from the heating
element.

9. Remove the outer 8 mm nut that attaches the
ground wire to the element mounting bolt.

10. Remove the inner 8 mm nut, washer, and spacer

11. Lift the right side of the element and release it

that attaches the element to the bottom of the
tub.
