Chapter 22 Communications
Communications System Messages
The X Series unit may display one of the following status messages during the transmission:
System Message
TRYING TO CONNECT TO
NETWORK
TRANSMITTING
TRANSMISSION COMPLETE
TRANSMISSION FAILED
Transmission Status Icons
If you have attempted to transmit a snapshot or case disclosure logs, the snapshot list in the 12
Lead Review window or the case list in the Case Selection window, displays an icon to the left
of the snapshot or case indicating the status of that transmission:

Cause
The unit is connecting to the network.
The data transfer is in progress
The data transfer is complete.
The data transfer has failed.
To correct the problem, check the following:
• Verify that wireless communications is enabled
on your X Series unit.
• Verify that the WiFi settings are correct in the
Communications setup menu.
• Verify that the ZOLL server is configured
correctly.
• Verify that your cellular device is configured
correctly.
• Make sure that the X Series unit is within range
of the wireless server.
Transmission Status
Indicates that a successful transmission has occurred.
Indicates that no successful transmission has occurred.
