Playback Controls

The following playback types are available using the onscreen joystick guide and any of the joysticks.
Playback type
Fast playback
Frame advance/reverse
Return to playback mode
NOTES
• There is no audio during any of the playback types listed in the previous table.
• During some playback modes, you may notice some anomalies (blocky video artifacts, banding, etc.) in the
playback picture.
• The speed indicated on the screen is approximate.
• If the clip's bit rate setting includes Long GOP compression, during frame advance, the time advanced
between frames is approximately 0.5 seconds.

Adjusting the Volume

You can use the speaker or connect headphones to the × (headphone)
terminal to listen to the audio during playback. Adjust the headphone
> [¡ ! Audio Setup] > [Speaker Volume] or
volume with the
[Headphone Volume] setting. If you set an assignable button to
[Headphones +] or [Headphones –] (A 119), you can press the button to
adjust the headphone volume without using the menu.
The audio signal will also be output from the SDI terminal and HDMI OUT
terminal.

During playback, push the joystick up or down.
Repeat to increase the playback speed to approximately 5x  15x  60x the normal speed.
During playback pause, push the joystick up or down.
Press the joystick itself.
