Speaker settings (continued)
x LEVEL
You can vary the level of each speaker as
follows. Be sure to set "TEST TONE" to "ON"
for easy adjustment.
The default settings are underlined.
CENTER Adjust the level of the center
0 dB speaker (–6 dB to +6 dB, 1 dB
increments).
SURROUND Adjust the level of the surround
LEFT speakers (–6 dB to +6 dB, 1 dB
increments).

SUBWOOFER Adjust the level of the sub woofer
0 dB (–10 dB to + 10 dB, 1 dB
increments).

x BALANCE
You can vary the balance of the left and right
speakers as follows. Be sure to set "TEST
TONE" to "ON" for easy adjustment.
The default settings are underlined.
Adjust the balance between the
FRONT
front left and right speakers (6 steps
– – – (CENTER)
left or right).
x TEST TONE
The speakers will emit a test tone to adjust
"BALANCE" and "LEVEL".
The default settings are underlined.
The test tone is not emitted from the
OFF
speakers.
The test tone is emitted from each
ON
speaker in sequence while adjusting
balance or level. The test tone is
emitted from selected speakers
during "LEVEL" or "BALANCE"
adjustment.
Note
When you adjust the level of the sub woofer, set
"TEST TONE" to "OFF".
